About Us
Blackhawk Snowblazers Snowmobile Club was formed January 21, 1974 known as Blackhawk Trail Blazers in Oregon, IL. In March, 1974 by the request of the state of Illinois, the name was changed to the Blackhawk Snowblazers. A few founding members still join the club every year. In the over 40 years of existence, a lot has changed but a lot has stayed the same. We are family orientated and provide a safe state funded trail system to ride your sled, hold snowmobile safety classes for anyone to learn safe riding with 4 certified state instructors. We maintain about 100 miles of trail open to the public from Dec. 15th to March 15th. connecting to the rest of the state trails and neighboring states.
Come on and ride our trails, join our club or one of the many clubs in the state.
Remember, RIDING SNOWMOBILE TRAILS IS A PRIVILEGE, NOT A RIGHT.
